Semi-abandoned prison in Helms

Helms Prison was built in the late 1886 and closed in 1995 after several riots in the 1970s and a reputation for prisoner abuse and unethical pharmaceutical and biochemical weapons research on prisoners. It was reopened recently to house weekend prisoners and is used for police training. The main parts of the old prison are still abandoned but the grounds are very secure with officers on site.
